Papua Expedition was born from countless expeditions with meaningful adventures far beyond the known. We became friends with the indigenous communities. Our love and fascination for this truly wild region never faded.  We decided to give other travelers the opportunity to experience West Papua together with us and the indigenous communities. 

 

Our specialty are expeditions to the remote world of  West Papua, where untouched coral reefs, dense jungles, high mountains and millennia-old indigenous cultures still exist in harmony - barely explored by the outside world.

 

Together with local communities, we design journeys that allow guests to explore this unique region authentically and responsibly. 
 

We work directly with indigenous hosts and guides to ensure every encounter is real, respectful, and beneficial for both guests and locals. Whether you’re camping on a wild island, joining a jungle trek with the Torowar people, or snorkel among stingless jellyfish, every experience is built around nature, cultural exchange, and simplicity.
